Pratik Shah

Pratik Shah, P.E., LEED AP, serves as Associate Principal at DeSimone Consulting Engineering since April 2012, focusing on the design of high-rise buildings and overseeing repair and renovation projects, alongside value engineering and peer review tasks. Previously, Pratik Shah worked at Walter P Moore from May 2007 to April 2012 as an Engineer, engaging in the design, repair, and renovation of various structures, including residential and office buildings, stadiums, hospitals, and more, while also conducting structural failure investigations and condition assessments. Pratik Shah began academic pursuits as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from August 2005 to May 2007, where research concentrated on seismic analysis and stability of steel frames. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Structures) from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai University.
