SHIKHA SAMANT

Shikha Samant has worked in a variety of roles in their professional career. SHIKHA began their career in 2012 as an Intern at The Asian Age and Tehelka, where they wrote stories on environment and interviews for the features section pages. In 2012, they also began working as a Communications Coordinator at Nokia, where they took care of the entire internal communication of their department, which had a strength of 500 employees. Her responsibilities included writing blogs on behalf of senior leadership team, preparing monthly newsletters, writing weekly content for internal and external community site (social media platform), writing, visualizing and circulating mass mailers, taking training sessions on enhancing communication skills, editing and reviewing documents, and being part of the Quality Improvement Program and Revamping the intranet. In 2015, they worked as an Associate at Weber Shandwick. Since 2016, they have been working as a Corporate Communications Manager at Deskera - Run Your Business - #1 Integrated Cloud Business Application.

Shikha Samant attended the Indian Institute of Mass Communication from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Post Graduation in English Journalism in the field of Mass Communication/Media Studies. SHIKHA also attended Dowhill School, Kurseong, Darjeeling from 1990 to 2001, where they earned their 10th - ICSE in Science, Maths, English, Hindi, and Arts.
