John Snider

John Snider is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional currently serving as Mechanical Tech Lead at Desktop Metal since February 2018. Previously, John held the position of Sr Mechanical Engineer at Kronos Incorporated, where contributions supported workforce management solutions utilized globally. John spent over fifteen years at MEI in various roles, including Advanced Development Director and Mechanical Discipline Manager, overseeing mechanical engineering standards and performance across several locations. Earlier in career, John served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lutron Electronics, contributing to energy-saving lighting control design. John holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has additional education from Penn State Great Valley and the State University of New York at Delhi.
