Silvia Elizabeth Martinez

Silvia Elizabeth Martinez, Ed.D., currently serves as the Executive Director of Administrative Services at Desoto Independent School District since August 2022. In addition, Silvia has been an Executive & Managing Consultant at BO WE Education Group since May 2017 and an Independent Sales Director at Mary Kay Inc. since July 2016. Prior to these roles, Silvia held several positions in education, including Family Engagement Coordinator and Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Duncanville ISD from September 2018 to August 2022, and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction at West Orange-Cove CISD from April 2015 to June 2017. Other notable roles include Interim Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction at West Orange-Cove CISD, and Principal at Dallas ISD. Silvia holds a Doctorate and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
