Melissa Brown

Melissa Brown, MLIS, currently serves as Supervisory Librarian at Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library since November 2018, overseeing branch operations and conducting performance evaluations for staff. Previously, Melissa held positions such as Librarian, providing reference services and developing library collections, and Library Services Specialist at the University of South Florida, managing the course reserves program and staffing service desks. Additional experience includes roles as Overnight Access Services Assistant and Magazine Customer Service Representative, among others, leading to a well-rounded background in library and customer service. Melissa Brown obtained a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida and holds degrees from John Jay College and New York University.
