Matias Sanchez possesses extensive experience in operations, strategic planning, and customer service across diverse industries. Currently serving as VP of Operations & Customer Service at Despegar since December 2020, Matias previously held multiple leadership roles within the same company from 2017 to 2020, including Head of Commercial Planning. Matias’ earlier experience includes significant positions at Ultrapetrol (Bahamas) Limited, LATAM Airlines, LoJack, and Booz Allen Hamilton, where responsibilities ranged from managing international flight scheduling to leading strategic projects and M&A transactions. Matias has developed expertise in various sectors, such as consumer goods, transportation, and financial services, and holds a BA in Economics from Universidad de 'San Andrés'.
