Annu Karttunen

Annu Karttunen is the current EVP of HR at Destia Oy. Annu has over 20 years of experience in developing and implementing people-related solutions. Annu has a wealth of knowledge across the entire employment life-cycle, with experience in culture, talent acquisition, employee experience, competence and leadership development. Customer based service design is their area of interest which they currently study at the Helsinki Summer University. Prior to their current position, Annu was the HRD Manager at YIT Kiinteistötekniikka Oy for 5 years. Before that, they were the HRD Manager at YIT Building Systems Northern Europe, Finland for 6 years 2 months, where they were responsible for competence development, personnel development, HR Survey, strategy coordination, workforce planning, and talent management. Annu also spent 1 year 4 months as the Head of HR in Building Services Northern Europe at YIT Group HR and YIT Building Services Northern Europe.

Annu Karttunen has a Licentiate in Education and a Master of Education from the University of Turku in Finland. Annu also has a degree in Service Design from Lapin University. In addition, they have completed a HR as a Business Partner course from LinkedIn, a Creating a Leadership Development Program course from LinkedIn, and a MBTI Qualified, APT Qualifying Training Program from APT (Association for Psychological Type) and OPP (Oxford Psychologists Press).
