Kari Alavillamo

Kari Alavillamo currently serves as the Executive Vice President at Destia Oy, overseeing key areas such as Rail Construction and Maintenance, Foundation Engineering, and Urban and Rock Construction. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at YIT, where Kari managed the Business Premises Division in the Helsinki metropolitan area and led multiple infrastructure projects including the E18 PPP motorway project. Additional positions at YIT included Chairperson of YIT Talon Tekniikka Oy and various project management roles, facilitating the successful execution of several major construction initiatives. Kari holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Tampere University of Applied Sciences and has participated in national defense training since 2018.
