Maureen Riley

Maureen Riley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the tourism industry, currently serving as Vice President International at Destination Canada since 2010. Previous roles at the organization include Executive Director of Industry Partnerships and Managing Director for Japan. Prior to Destination Canada, Maureen held the position of Director for Asia Pacific at Travel Alberta from 2007 to 2010 and served in various sales roles at Tourism Whistler from 2002 to 2007. Maureen began their career as a Purchasing Coordinator at JTB International (Canada) from 2001 to 2002. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from The University of Calgary and a Certificate of Japanese Language and Culture from Kyushu Women’s University.
