Tinsy Labrie has held a variety of roles in the marketing and public relations field over the past 40 years. In 1979, they began their career as a Park Ranger and Interpreter at Gettysburg National Park. In 1981, they moved to Washington DC to become a TV News Producer for Dun & Bradstreet's Corinthian Broadcasting division. In 1983, they became the Director of Marketing for the United States Football League (USFL). Later that year, they took on the role of Vice President of Marketing for the Pittsburgh Spirit Indoor Soccer team. In 1992, they became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. In 1999, they were hired as the Vice President of Marketing for VisitPittsburgh. In 2017, they were hired as the Marketing and Public Relations Director for the Jewish Association on Aging. Finally, in 2022, they were hired as the Senior Marketing Manager for Destination Gettysburg.
Tinsy Labrie obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English/Journalism from Saint Francis University between 1976 and 1980. Tinsy then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Radio and Television from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, which they completed in 1981.
