Oscar Castro

Oscar Castro, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Oscar is currently serving as the Head of Strategic Finance & M&A at Destination Pet, LLC since May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Finance at Upbound Group from September 2021 to May 2023. From January 2019 to September 2021, they held the position of Global Head of Finance - FP&A at DZS. Before that, they served as CFO North America - Global SVP Finance at Solera, Inc. where they were responsible for all executive financial and strategic analysis aspects from an undefined start date to 2018. Their work experience also includes being the SVP Strategic FP&A at Citi from an undefined start date to 2014 and LFO/Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at American Express from an undefined start date to 2011.

Oscar Castro, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration degree at Universidad del Valle de México from 2002 to 2004. Oscar also pursued an MBA with a focus on Finance, General at Sylvan University Texas during the same period. Additionally, they attended York University in 2000 for a Leadership Compass program.
