Senior Engineering Manager at Detectify

Carl Larsson has had a varied and extensive career in software engineering. Carl began their career in 2011 as a Co-founder at Jolly Monday. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at ftrack, where they developed an asset and project management SaaS solution for the creative industry. Carl also completed a Master Thesis Student project at ftrack, which focused on how the concept of social media could be applied in an asset and project management system to help users work more efficiently. In 2015, Carl became a Software Engineer and Co-founder at Människa Maskin. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Load Impact, where they planned and developed a companion service for the load testing tool k6. Carl also worked as Lead Developer at both Naturhistoriska riksmuseet and Storm Glass in the same year. In 2018, Carl became Lead Developer at Storm Glass. Finally, in 2019, they worked as Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager at Detectify, leading the cross functional Onboarding and Asset management team.

Carl Larsson obtained their MSc in Media Technology and Engineering from Linköping University between 2007 and 2012. Carl also holds a Driver License from Trafikverket, obtained in October 2004, and a One Star Diver certification from CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques), obtained in April 2001.
