Director, Sourcing & Supply Chain at Detection Technology

Topi Alanne has extensive work experience in the sourcing and supply chain management field. Topi is currently serving as the Director of Sourcing & Supply Chain at Detection Technology. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Sourcing at the same company.

Before joining Detection Technology, Topi worked at Murata as the Senior Manager and Head of Sourcing & Logistics. In this role, they were responsible for leading and developing strategic sourcing, material management, and logistics. Topi also managed a team of over 30 individuals and reported directly to the Managing Director of Murata Electronics Oy.

Topi also had a long tenure at KONE Corporation, where they held various positions. Topi served as the Global Sourcing Category Manager and a Management Team member of the KONE Building Door Business Unit. Topi was involved in sourcing and partnership activities across the global business unit, covering material purchases, third-party product purchases, and local purchases. Topi was also responsible for strategic sourcing in the electrification category and supplier quality management in the electronics, electrification, and signalization categories. Additionally, Topi worked as a Reliability Engineer in the R&D Reliability Laboratory, where they conducted testing and analysis of PCBAs and electronics assemblies.

Prior to their time at KONE Corporation, Topi worked as a Sales Assistant at ECOMAL.

Topi Alanne attended the University of Applied Sciences Turku and studied Telecommunication / Electronics production until 2004. Prior to that, they completed their education at Hyvinkään Yhteiskoulu in 1998. Additionally, in November 2008, Topi obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Six Sigma Qualtec.
