Zhigang Sun has a diverse work experience in electrical engineering and project management. From 2000 to 2006, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at the North China Research Institute of Electro-optics. Then, from 2006 to 2011, they served as a Lead Electrical Engineer at GE Healthcare, where they focused on PCB, firmware, cable, and subsystem design for digital diagnostic X-Ray equipment. Since 2011, they have been with Detection Technology, starting as a Project Manager/Senior Electrical Engineer and later transitioning to a System Design Engineer role. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer, HW&Systems. In their current role, they oversee the CT-DAS project and hardware design, with a focus on PCB design for X-ray security imaging products.

Zhigang Sun pursued their Bachelor's of Science degree from Tianjin University, attending from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they furthered their education at the North China Research Institute of Electro-optics, where they obtained a Master's degree in Physical Electronics from 2002 to 2005.
