Haemish Kyd

Haemish Kyd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in system design and software engineering. Currently serving as System Design Manager and previously as Software Development Engineer at DetNet South Africa (Pty) Ltd since July 2019, Kyd has held significant roles at Hensoldt Optronics Pty Ltd and Cassidian Optronics as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Kyd has a strong background in aeronautical software engineering, project management, and embedded systems, with prior positions at Accenture and Advanced Technologies and Engineering, where Kyd was involved in developing safety-critical systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Cape Town and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from GIBS Business School.
