Ashley Harriger

Ashley Harriger is an accomplished Executive Pastry Chef currently leading the pastry team at the Detroit Athletic Club since April 2025, following a similar role at the Shinola Hotel from August 2023 to April 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Pastry Chef at Mainstreet Ventures Restaurant Group (June 2020 - July 2023) and Executive Pastry Chef at Blue Plate (February 2011 - June 2020). Earlier positions provided diverse experience in customer service roles, including as a barista at Starbucks in Grand Rapids International Airport and as a student manager at Grand Valley State University’s Campus Dining. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Baking & Pastry from Kendall College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art & Design from Grand Valley State University. Achievements include multiple Employee of the Month recognitions during retail positions at Torrid and Hot Topic.
