Susie Corker Cobb, MPA has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Susie began their career as a Development Intern at the Detroit Institute of Arts in January 2014. Susie then worked as a Group Reservations Coordinator and later as a Visitor Services Supervisor, where they managed a Front-Line staff and was responsible for various tasks such as scheduling, hiring, training, budget preparation, and event setup.

In 2019, Susie joined The Baldwin Center as a Board Member and later became the Vice President of the Board of Directors. The Baldwin Center is a non-profit organization that provides support programs to the Pontiac community, including education, crisis assistance, and basic needs.

In 2020, Susie worked as a Grant Research Assistant at Gateway to Grants, where they assisted in researching grants. Susie also worked as a Grant Officer at MIU Men's Health Foundation in 2019, where they helped secure funding to provide services to communities in Metro Detroit.

Susie's experience also includes working as a Supplemental Instructor at Oakland Community College, where they assisted the professor in teaching art history and building study materials. In the years 2012 to 2015, Susie completed an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities at Oakland Community College.
