Now in her 17th year with the Lions, Allison Maki serves as the senior vice president of administration and chief financial officer. Maki originally joined the Lions in 2004 as the director of finance and in 2008, she was promoted to vice president of finance, a position she retained for seven years. Maki was named to her current role in 2015.
She oversees the team's finance and information technology functions, as well as the facility operations at the Lions' Practice Facility in Allen Park. She assists in the oversight and management of the organization's key business partners, while serving as the Treasurer for Detroit Lions Charities. Maki has been a presenter at the NFL Women's Career Development Symposium, as well as other local events, and is currently one of only eight female chief financial officers in the NFL. She currently serves as a member of the NFL's Club Technology Advisory Board.
A native of Northville, Mich., Maki began her professional career in 1997 with the accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP. She worked at Ernst & Young for seven years, leaving as a manager to join the Lions in 2004.
Maki is a graduate of Albion College where she majored in economics and management. She currently serves on the Albion College Board of Trustees. In 2019, she received Albion College's Distinguished Alumni Award. Maki is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of CPAs.
Allison and her husband, Ryan, reside in South Lyon, Mich., with twins Colin and Kendall and their mischievous Labrador retriever.
