Andrew Frey is the current Director of Marketing Events at the Detroit Lions. Andrew has previous experience working as the Assistant Director of Marketing at Northwestern University and as an Event Presentation Assistant at the University of Michigan Athletics.
Frey has experience in managing marketing efforts for various collegiate sports programs, including men's and women's soccer, softball, men's tennis, and fencing. Andrew also has experience in email marketing strategy, event coordination, and sponsorship negotiation.
Frey oversaw ten interns during their two-year stint at Northwestern University. Andrew also worked with Learfield Sports Properties to negotiate, sign, and execute sponsorship contracts, resulting in a record-number of sponsorship revenue for the department.
Andrew Frey earned their high school diploma from Saline High School. Andrew then went on to Michigan State University where they earned their bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Eli Broad College of Business. Finally, they earned their master’s degree in sport administration from Michigan State University.
