Foundation Program Officer at Detroit Lions

Terrance Thomas is the current Foundation Program Officer at the Detroit Lions. Terrance has held this position since June of 2018. Prior to that, they were the Corporate Partnerships Executive at Michigan International Speedway from March of 2017 to June of 2018. Before that, they were a Recruiting Assistant at Turnkey Sports & Entertainment from May to June of 2016 and, before that, they were the Recruiter for the Professional Masters of Sports Administration Program (PMSA) at Ohio University from April of 2016 to May of 2017. Las Vegas Motor Speedway was their next stop, where they served as Sales and Marketing Intern from February to March of 2016. Then, it was back to Ohio University, this time as a Graduate Assistant at the Entrepreneurship Center from August of 2015 to April of 2016. Thomas began their professional career as an Operations Management Intern with the Cleveland Indians in January of 2015 and stayed with the organization until May of 2015. Terrance got their start in the sports industry as a Game Day Intern with the Akron Rubber Ducks (“AA” Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) in April of 2014 and remained with the organization until September of 2014. Thomas' first internship was with SPIRE Institute, where they served as Marketing and Communications Intern from June of 2013 to November of 2013. Terrance also spent time as a Residential Sports Academy Advisor at Andrews Osborne Academy from June to August of 2013.

Terrance Thomas received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Sports Administration (MSA) from Ohio University. Terrance also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Bowling Green State University. Terrance Thomas is a graduate of Orange High School.
