Toby Junker

Toby Junker is a skilled professional in sports analytics with a strong background in statistical modeling and data analysis. Currently serving as a Football Information Intern with the Detroit Lions since June 2021, Toby previously gained experience as a Sports Analyst Intern at Tokio Marine HCC, where a stochastic NCAA Football model was built to calculate insurance rates. Additionally, a Sports Research Internship at Carnegie Mellon University involved analyzing NFL Player Tracking Data and designing algorithms for error detection and play classification. Earlier experience includes serving as a Swimming Instructor for Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation, providing lessons to campers.
