Michael Scheinert

Michael Scheinert is an accomplished professional in basketball strategy and analytics, currently serving as the Manager of Basketball Strategy for the Detroit Pistons since September 2020. Prior roles include Basketball Analytics Coordinator and Basketball Operations Intern for the Pistons. In a brief stint with the New York Mets as a Summer Intern in May 2020, Scheinert gained experience despite working virtually due to COVID-19. Prior to that, Scheinert was a Student Manager for Duke Men's Basketball from September 2016 to March 2020 and completed a Football Research Internship with the Dallas Cowboys in the summer of 2019. Scheinert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Duke University, where academic studies were complemented by practical experience in sports management.
