Linda Yohn

Linda Yohn is an experienced on-air personality currently hosting the "Swing Set" on Detroit Public Television/WRCJ-FM since September 2019. With a diverse background in the broadcasting industry, Yohn previously served as a music director at WEMU-FM for over 30 years, where responsibilities included public broadcasting fundraising, listener engagement, and programming across various music genres. Additionally, Yohn has worked as a self-employed content writer, stage manager, event host, and event producer, including a role as stage manager for the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. Yohn has been an active member of the Jazz Journalists Association and began a career in public relations for jazz musicians and organizations at Peter Levinson Communications. Educational credentials include a BA from Otterbein University and ongoing studies at Eastern Michigan University and Kent State University.
