Curtis Kevin Johnson

Board Member at Detroit Recovery Project

Curtis Kevin Johnson is a man of faith who is a loving considerate husband and father of four. He is a graduate of Detroit Public Schools where he met his wife Shauna whom he has been married to for over 25 years. Shauna is a graduate of Cass Technical High School and is registered nurse by trade and entrepreneur who owns an Allstate Insurance Agency located in Detroit’s Rosedale Park Area.

Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Morehouse College and has received secondary degrees for Wayne State University (MBA 1995) & Bryant University (CFP 2016).

Curtis pass work experience includes but is not limited to working with Chrysler Financial as a Branch Manager Trainee, A Commissioned Bank Examiner with Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Comptroller of Home Federal Savings Bank, Radio talk show host on WHPR and 1440, and the first Allstate Exclusive Agent to open an office in the City of Detroit.

Curtis currently owns a UPS Store located on Grand River in Rosedale Park and Johnson Family Agency. Johnson Family Agency is full service independent insurance agency that offers personal and commercial auto and property insurance. He is also a license builder who is President of Inner City Builders and Inner City Contracting.

Curtis is a proud Board Member of Campbell Academic Services/Aces Program and past President of Christmas in April Detroit Chapter and Grandmont Rosedale Business Association.
