Walter Reginald Mills “Reggie” was appointed to one of the highest level of leaderships for the UAW as a UAW International Representative in June 2008. Mr. Mills previously served terms as an Elected UAW Bargaining Representative, Elected UAW Local 600 Executive Board Member (Trustee) and UAW Elected Committee Member from April 2002 – June 2008.

Mr. Mills gained his first leadership role as an International Representative at the UAW as a UAW-Ford Quality Representative and UAW-Ford Coordinator of Special Projects from June 2008 to Feb 2015. In February 2015 Mr. Mills was assigned to the UAW-Ford ESSP (Employee Support Services Program)/EAP (Employee Assistance Program) & Wellbeing Program as Coordinator where he currently serves for the UAW-Ford workforce.

Mr. Mills brings his own personal life experiences and knowledge assisting others in living a healthier lifestyle. Mr. Mills and his Team, with direction from their Executive Leadership, achieve this with the concept of focusing on the “Whole You”.

Mr. Mills begin his journey with the UAW as an assembler in May 1993 when he was hired at the Dearborn Assembly Plant for Ford Motor Company.

In November 16, 1996 Mr. Mills begin his Recovery journey at SHAR House where he is now in his 24th year living a Clean and Sober Life.

Currently Mr. Mills is a Mentor for the Midnight Golf Program (Sept 2014 – present), serves as a CERT Officer for the Wayne County Sheriff Office (2013 – present) and continues to serve and volunteer his time to numerous Community Activities throughout the Wayne County area.
