Vice President, Marketing And Creative at Detroit Regional Chamber

Melissa Read has a diverse and extensive work experience. Melissa began their career as a Media Intern at Brand Links in 2010. Following that, they joined the American Advertising Federation, where they participated in the National Student Advertising Competition and achieved 4th place in the district. In 2012, Melissa joined the Detroit Regional Chamber as a Graphic Designer and later advanced to the role of Senior Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Melissa then took on the position of Creative Manager and Creative Director before becoming the Senior Director of Marketing and Creative. Currently, Melissa holds the role of Vice President of Marketing and Creative at the Detroit Regional Chamber, where they lead the design and marketing teams, executes digital campaigns, optimizes the user experience, and oversees event registrations and signature events.

Melissa Read attended Grand Valley State University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at West Bloomfield High School.
