Benjamin Brown is a seasoned arts administrator with extensive experience in production and operations management within prestigious music organizations. Currently serving as the Production Manager at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra since September 2022, Benjamin previously held roles including Administrative Support Coordinator at California State University, Monterey Bay, and Office Manager at Ganna Walska Lotusland, where responsibilities included budget tracking and technical support. At the Music Academy of the West, Benjamin excelled as Venues Manager, overseeing sound system installations and event management. Previous experience also includes Operations/Production Manager at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and various positions in box office management and intern roles at notable institutions. Benjamin holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Gonzaga University.
