Melatan Riden

Melatan Riden has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of art, design, and creative direction. Melatan currently holds the position of EVP, Art & Design at Deutsch NY, starting in 2022. Prior to that, Melatan co-founded the company Not An Office LLC in 2018, where they served as the Co-Founder and ECD. Melatan also worked at UN Women as the ECD & Board Member from 2016 until 2021. In 2016, Melatan co-founded Double Barrel and served as the Co-Founder and ECD until 2019. Melatan has also worked as a coach at Seth Godin's altMBA, Executive Design Director at TBWA\Chiat\Day, Creative Director at Lipman, Design Director at Anomaly, and Senior Art Director at Sid Lee. Melatan'scareer began in 2006 as a Senior Designer at Concrete Design Communications.

Melatan Riden began their education in 1998 at York University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking and Art History. Melatan completed this program in 2000. Additionally, in the same year, they engaged in the field of Graphic Design through a Continuing Studies program at OCAD University. Later on, from 2000 to 2004, Melatan attended York University alongside Sheridan College, where they earned a Bachelor of Design Honours degree with a focus on Design and Communications. In 2016, Melatan briefly participated in Seth Godin's altMBA program, although specific details regarding the degree and field of study are not provided.
