Mirjam Weisse

Mirjam Weisse is an experienced legal and compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Compliance Whistleblowing Management at Deutsche Bahn since December 2021. Additionally, Mirjam holds the role of Of-Counsel and Legal Counsel at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH since May 2020. Previous positions include Senior Compliance Manager at DB - Deutsche Bahn AG from October 2020 to March 2022, and Head of Compliance EMEA at Merz Pharma GmbH & Co. KGaA from April 2015 to April 2020, where Mirjam focused on developing compliance strategies across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. Mirjam's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Siemens from December 2009 to March 2015 and Manager of International Employment Law at Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH from March 2006 to December 2009. Mirjam began the legal career as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP and Schmitt-Rolfes/Faltermeier/Staudacher. Mirjam holds both a State Exam and a doctoral degree in law from Heidelberg University.
