Tim Matthias

Tim Matthias is an experienced professional in engineering, currently serving as the Assistant to the Chairman of the Management Board at DB Systemtechnik GmbH since February 2022. Prior to this role, Tim Matthias worked as a Project Engineer at the Institut für Umformtechnik und Umformmaschinen from February 2015 to December 2021, focusing on material characterization, simulation, and tailored forming, among other areas. Additionally, Tim Matthias led the working group on characterization and simulation within the Collaborative Research Center SFB 1153 from July 2015 to June 2019. Tim Matthias began their career at Continental as a graduate intern in the Research and Development department between September 2014 and February 2015. Tim Matthias holds a degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
