Ashton Fernandes

Ashton Fernandes has over 24 years of experience in training and compliance within the banking industry. Currently serving as the Regional Head (APAC) for Global Regulatory Training at Deutsche Bank since July 2006, Ashton leads regulatory training initiatives across the Asia Pacific region and collaborates with country Compliance heads to create eLearning solutions. Prior to this role, Ashton established the training function for the retail banking business at Deutsche Bank’s Private Bank division and delivered comprehensive training in Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime. Earlier experience includes a position as a Training Officer at HSBC, where Ashton focused on induction and skills training for customer service teams, and a role as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Compass Connections, where training and mentorship for new team members were key responsibilities.
