Awais Omar

Awais Omar is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Head of Finance for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan at Deutsche Bank since April 2017, Awais oversees critical finance activities and previously led the UK Management Review Process team as Vice President – Finance COO. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Awais held the position of Director of Finance at Foundation Energy, focusing on commercial and financial strategies for the energy marketing and trading business. Awais also served as Investment Director and Company Secretary at Sudamin Ltd, managing acquisition and divestment activities, and held various roles at Enron Europe Limited, including Director of EBS Europe, where Awais developed business strategies for broadband services. Awais holds an EMBA from London Business School and a BSc(Econ) Hons in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
