Dr. Andrés Felipe Schlief Raether

Dr. Andrés Felipe Schlief Raether is a quantitative strategist and risk methodology specialist currently serving as an Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank since March 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Schlief Raether worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Society from August 2019 to February 2021 and completed a PhD in Physics at McMaster University, having transitioned through various academic roles including a PhD graduate student at the Perimeter Institute and research assistant at Universidad de Los Andes. Dr. Schlief Raether holds multiple degrees in physics, including a Bachelor’s degree from Universidad de Los Andes, a Master of Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Perimeter Scholars International Diploma.
