Rakesh Gajaria

Rakesh Gajaria is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and tax management within the banking industry. Currently serving as the Director and India Head for Tax Operations and Audit Confirmation Utility at Deutsche Bank Operations International Private Limited since October 2014, Rakesh oversees FATCA/CRS compliance and taxation reporting for global banking operations. Additionally, as the Director of Operations in Jacksonville Florida, Rakesh is responsible for operational margin and tax utility, leading planning and day-to-day management while maintaining internal stakeholder relationships. Rakesh's previous roles at Deutsche Bank include Vice President for US Securities Operations, where strategic initiatives significantly boosted productivity, and various positions at HCL Technologies, SBI Commercial and International Bank Ltd., and The Bank of Punjab, contributing to a robust background in finance and operational processes. Rakesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Indo-German Training Centre and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from RA Podar College.
