Jakob Mentzingen

Jakob Mentzingen is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainable finance and strategic consulting. Currently serving as an Associate in Cash Market Strategy and ESG Strategy at Deutsche Börse since July 2023, Jakob actively contributes to the group's sustainable finance program, supporting the Trading & Clearing segment and corporate functions in developing sustainable markets and products. Prior to this role, Jakob was Associate Director at ESG Book from August 2020 to July 2023, focusing on strategic sustainability integration for clients in the financial and corporate sectors. Earlier experience includes positions as a Junior Consultant and Student Consultant at Capgemini Invent, working on strategic IT funding and digitization projects for German Federal Ministries. Jakob also gained foundational experience through internships with Landesvertretung Baden-Württemberg, Deutscher Bundestag, and Engel & Völkers. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Management from the University of Edinburgh Business School and a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Exeter.
