Aarthi Balamurugan

Aarthi Balamurugan's work experience begins in 2014 with internships at Infomaps, SRI MANGADU KAMATCHIAMMAN BUSINESS CORPORATION, the India Meteorological Department, and the Institute of Remote Sensing. In 2017, Aarthi worked as an intern at AIRBUS DEFENCE AND SPACE GMBH, where they completed the design and development of a widget called "Export" using the 'Web Appbuilder' for ArcGIS and 'ArcGIS' JavaScript API. From 2018 to 2019, Aarthi was an intern at GYOKAP SURVEYING TRAINING INSTITUTE. From 2019 to 2022, Aarthi worked as a research assistant at MARUM - Center for Marine Environmental Sciences, University of Bremen. In 2023, Aarthi is set to begin working as an IT Project Manager at DFMG Deutsche Funkturm GmbH.

Aarthi Balamurugan completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Geomatics from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Geoinformatics from Anna University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Aarthi also holds additional certifications. In August 2021, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org. Furthermore, they acquired the EU-Kompetenznachweis A1/A3 certification from Luftfahrt-Bundesamt in February 2023.
