Ilias Bouaissa

Ilias Bouaissa has extensive experience in the field of auditing and finance. Ilias currently holds the role of VP International Audit, Risk & Compliance at Deutsche Hospitality. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Internal Controls & Sox at the same company. Before joining Deutsche Hospitality, Ilias worked as Interim Chief Financial Officer for both TreasureHunter and Steel Mont GmbH. Ilias also worked as the Internal Audit Manager at Signode - Part of Crown Holdings Inc. and as a Senior Consultant at PwC, where they specialized in financial audits and internal control systems.

Ilias Bouaissa is currently pursuing the Chartered Certified Accountant degree at ACCA, which is expected to be completed in 2023. Ilias obtained a Diplom-Ökonom degree in Management and Economics from Ruhr University Bochum from 2006 to 2011, specializing in Banking and Finance, IFRS-Accounting, and International Economic Relations. Additionally, they completed semester abroad programs in Management at Universitas Udayana and Tongji University in 2010. Ilias also holds the Certified Internal Auditor certification from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors, which was obtained in December 2019, as well as the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business from ACCA in 2017.
