Josef Herrnböck

Josef Herrnböck has a diverse work experience in the tax sector. Josef currently holds the position of Tax Director at Deutsche Hospitality, starting in August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Barnes, where they held various roles including Director of Tax Reporting & Planning (Europe) from April 2022 to August 2023, and Senior Manager of European Tax from February 2017 to April 2022. Before joining Barnes, Josef worked at Outotec GmbH & Co. KG as a Tax Manager from September 2013 to February 2017. Josef also served as the Manager of German Tax at Magna Automotive Holding (Germany) GmbH from January 2012 to August 2013, and as a Tax Consultant at Airliquide E&C Solutions (Germany) GmbH from January 2008 to December 2011. Josef began their career as a Tax Assistant at WM Treuhand & Steuerberatungsgesellschaft AG from March 2004 to December 2007.

Josef Herrnböck obtained a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Universität Passau. Josef also holds a certification as a Steuerberater (Certified Tax Advisor) from Steuerberaterkammer Hessen, which they obtained in 2012.
