Zsolt Bogar

Zsolt Bogar currently serves as a Senior Editor at Deutsche Welle, a position held since April 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Policy Officer for Media Freedom and Pluralism and for Flight, Migration, and Integration in the European Union at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung from March 2017 to December 2020. Zsolt was the Political Editor and later the Economic Editor at HVG Online from August 2011 to July 2016, overseeing content management and strategy development for the leading Hungarian weekly's online edition. Additional roles include project coordinator and editor at Goethe-Institut e.V., Senior Editor at MR-1 Kossuth Rádió, and journalist at Magyar Narancs, among others. Zsolt has also led projects for German journalists through the Medientandem Ungarn initiative. Academic achievements encompass a Master's Degree in German Studies from Eötvös Loránd University and participation in various journalism training programs.
