Efsun Kavaklioglu

Efsun Kavaklioglu is a dedicated researcher currently serving as a Doctoral Researcher at Deutsches Primatenzentrum GmbH since July 2024, following a progression from an MSc. Student at the same organization from October 2023 to April 2024. Efsun's research experience includes multiple roles as a Research Intern in various laboratories, contributing to studies in the Sensorimotor Group, Functional Imaging Laboratory, and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory. Prior to these roles, Efsun worked as a Research Assistant at UMRAM and completed senior projects at Meteksan Savunma. Efsun's academic journey includes a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Göttingen, a Master’s degree in Cognitive Science from Middle East Technical University, and an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University. Additionally, Efsun participated as a panel member in the APEAA Conference, highlighting interests in ergodic texts and grief.
