Henk Schipper

Henk Schipper is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in various roles within the humanitarian sector, currently serving at the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz e.V. since February 2023. Previously, Henk held positions such as Programme Coordinator at the German Red Cross and Head of Project at Welthungerhilfe. Henk has a background in disaster risk reduction, food security, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects, having supported the Malawi Red Cross in project management. With significant experience as a WASH delegate for the Nederlands rodekruis and project manager at SNV, Henk combines a strong academic foundation, including an MSc in project management from The University of Manchester and a bachelor's degree in land and water management from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences.
