Eric Lai

Eric Lai has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Eric is currently working as a Technology Director at Develop for Good since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Delphix starting from April 2022. Eric also worked at Pure Storage as an Engineering Manager from December 2016 to April 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft from June 2013 to December 2016. Eric's experience also includes working as a Software Development Manager at Amazon from April 2008 to June 2013, and as a Software Engineer at FINCAD from April 2006 to April 2008. Eric had an internship as a Software Engineer at PMC-Sierra from April 2006 to August 2006. Eric began their career as a Research Assistant at both the University of British Columbia (2004-2006) and Eos Funds (2004-2005).

Eric Lai's education history includes a variety of academic achievements. Eric pursued their education at The University of British Columbia from 2000 to 2008, obtaining multiple degrees. Eric Lai further enhanced their qualifications by attending Oracle in 2011. Here, they received the official certification of Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer after completing the required program. This certification showcases their expertise in the Java programming language.

In 2013, Eric Lai attended the Project Management Institute, where they pursued a Project Management Professional (PMP) degree. Their education in project management provided him with comprehensive knowledge and skills in this field.
