Steve Wade

Steve Wade has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Steve is currently employed at the Development Bank of Wales, where they have worked since 2019. Steve initially joined as a Risk Investment Executive and later progressed to the role of Senior Risk Investment Executive.

Prior to their current role, Steve worked at Begbies Traynor Group for an impressive duration of 17 years, from 2002 to 2019. Steve held the position of Director of Insolvency Services, assisting businesses facing financial difficulties.

Before their tenure at Begbies Traynor Group, Steve briefly worked at Barclays Bank in 2012 as a Case Director on secondment in the Business Support department.

Earlier in their career, Steve gained experience in the insurance and finance sectors. Steve was a Special Risks Manager at Atradius / Gerling NCM from 1999 to 2002. Steve also spent a significant portion of their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers / Coopers & Lybrand, where they worked as an Insolvency Manager from 1987 to 1999.

Alongside their professional career, Steve is also a talented musician and has been an active member of the band All Colours Are Brothers (ACAB) since 1991. The band is available for various events and celebrations.

Steve Wade attended Cyfarthfa High School from 1977 to 1984. Steve did not receive a degree or specialize in any particular field during their time there. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Wales, Cardiff and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing from 1984 to 1987.
