Penny Warmanen

Community Outreach Worker at Development Centers

Penny Warmanen, MPH, is an experienced public health professional currently serving as a Community Outreach Worker at Development Centers since June 2021. In this role, Penny plans and implements outreach activities, promotes health programs, and engages with community organizations to enhance participation among underserved populations, while also educating the public about COVID-19 and vaccine access. Prior to this position, Penny worked as a Community Health Worker at the Washtenaw County Health Department, scheduling COVID-19 vaccinations and managing immunization records. Penny's diverse experience also includes research and community health education roles, supported by a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Anthropology and Women's Studies.
