Biljana Potparic Lipa is a seasoned development specialist with 16 years of progressively increasing management roles in justice sector reform projects and in judicial institutions. Ms. Potparic Lipa has served as the Chief of Party of two USAID funded projects in the rule of law and anti-corruption field. She is currently the Chief of Party of the USAID funded Justice Activity Corruption Activity, a five year rule of law project that is designed to assist the justice sector to process and adjudicate complex high profile corruption cases. Ms. Potparic was also the Chief of Party of the Justice Activity where she successfully led a tailored partnership program with 19 prosecutor’s offices and other reforms including the introduction of judicial integrity plans for all BiH Judicial institutions and completion of numerous studies including the Diagnostic Assessment of the Corruption Risks in Judiciary. Ms. Potparic Lipa has also served in Bosnian justice sector institutions including as the Registrar of the BIH State Court and of the International Registry for Organized Crime, Economic Crime, Corruption and the War Crimes Chambers. In addition to her management duties at these institutions, she was also responsible for the successful development of the court services department which included the court management department, witness support unit, IT service, and public information department. Ms. Potparic Lipa has extensive experience with criminal legal reform and anti-corruption efforts as the Head of the Criminal Unit of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) where she managed and participated in the establishment of a War Crimes Chamber at the BIH State Court.
