Yaa Nimako

Yaa Nimako has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as an Early Childhood Educator at the Developmental Disabilities Association since June 2019 in Vancouver, B.C. Prior roles include Senior ESL Teacher at Ghana International School from October 2010 to June 2012 and Senior Teacher at Alsyd Academy from September 2006 to September 2010. Yaa's career began as a Teacher at Lincoln Community School from September 2004 to June 2005 and as an Administrative Assistant at Lincoln Community School from September 2000 to June 2002. Yaa holds a Certificate in Administration & Management for Child Education from Westcoast Childcare Resource Centre and a Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction in a multilingual/multicultural setting from George Mason University, with additional studies at The University of British Columbia from 2012 to 2014.
