Antonios Chalaris

Antonios Chalaris is an experienced professional in the field of aquaculture, currently serving as the Aqua Business Development Manager (International) at Devenish since February 2023, and a member of the Board of Directors for the European Aquaculture Society. Previous roles include Product Manager at BioMar and Chief Technical Officer at Otter Ferry Seafish Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed fish health, biology, and the development of commercial trials for various species. Antonios has contributed as a visiting researcher at IFREMER and has an extensive academic background, holding a PhD in Aquaculture from the University of Stirling, an MSc in Sustainable Aquaculture, and a Ptychio in Ichthyology from the University of Thessaly.
