Derek Gaffney

Derek Gaffney has held various roles throughout their career. derek currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Humanativ since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Business Development Director at Devenish starting in December 2019. Before joining Devenish, Derek was the Export Director at Hankkija Oy from November 2015 to December 2019. derek also worked as the European Sales Manager at Hankkija Maatalous Finland from February 2012 to November 2015. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Glanbia, including Retail Buyer Agri Hardware and Gardening from September 2006 to March 2011, and roles as an Animal Nutritionalist from 1997 to 2005 and as a Customer Service Manager from 1995 to 1997.

Derek Gaffney completed their Leaving Certificate at C.B.S Kilkenny from 1979 to 1984. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree at University College Dublin from 1984 to 1989.
