Io Blair-Freese

Io Blair-Freese has a diverse background with experience in both the private and non-profit sectors. They have served as Chief Executive Officer and Interim Director of Strategy & Partnership at DevGlobal, where they have advised and facilitated partnerships with various organizations. At the World Bank, they worked as a Short Term Consultant. Io has worked extensively in the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, serving as a Program Officer, Associate Program Officer, and GIS Analyst, where they created mapping data and analytics investment portfolios for different disease programs. They also developed groundbreaking humanitarian licensing for satellite and derived data. Before that, they worked as a Temporary Program Assistant at Volt Workforce Solutions. Io's work experience also includes serving as a Summer Organizer at Organizing For America, where they managed recruitment calls, trained volunteers, and organized events.

Io Blair-Freese received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Western Washington University in 2012. In 2019, they began pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree in Technology Management at the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, which they completed in 2021.
