Ryan Sheldrake

Ryan Sheldrake has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Ryan began their career in 2001 as an Operator at HBOS, and then progressed to Senior Operations Analyst. In 2006, they joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Technical Infrastructure Manager and Senior Infrastructure Developer. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Environment Manager and Technical Project Manager at Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc. Ryan then moved on to Vocalink, a Mastercard company, where they held the role of Solutions Architect and Environment, Release & Delivery Tools Manager. In 2016, they joined Sonatype as a Principle Architect, International and Solutions Architect, EMEA. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at FOSSA as Director - Sales Engineering. Ryan then moved on to Lacework as Field CTO, EMEA, and currently holds the role of CTO Mentor at Seedcamp.

Ryan Sheldrake has a degree in Physics from the University of Leeds, which they obtained between 1997 and 2000. Ryan also holds several certifications, including an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services, obtained in January 2017; a Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise & Solution Architecture from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, obtained in October 2015; and TOGAF 9.1 from The Open Group, obtained in September 2014.
